Fixtures & Coronavirus: Stop dates & predicted restart schedules European leagues, Champions League & Euro 2020
Football Fixtures & Coronavirus
As everyone is now aware, the spread of the coronavirus has stopped most football leagues around the world.
But when can fans hope to see their national leagues restart? When can we expect to see live football broadcasted once again?
Note: Live football is still (just about) happening!
Football fans should note that some leagues are still active.
These are now simply the top flight in Belarus and Nicaragua.
However, as we update this post, it is becoming clearer that a number of leagues are starting to prepare for their returns.
Most notably, in Germany, South Korea and Norway.
UEFA have facilitated the ability to finish all leagues in Europe by pushing Euro 2020 to 2021. Whilst it will still be called Euro 2020, the plan is for it to take place next summer, as it stands.
