Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra to have Dusshera 2022 release 

It is known that filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga is set for his next with Ranbir Kapoor. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Parineeti Chopra. After the stupendous success of Kabir Singh, the filmmaker is gearing up for Animal.   The film now has a release date. Animal will have a Dusshera 2022 release, October 5. No plans to introduce Taimur’s baby brother to the media; to be kept completely out of the public eye

There are overzealous reports in the media claiming that Saif Ali Khan and wife Kareena Kapoor Khan would introduce their new baby boy to the media through a virtual platform. Rana Daggubati, Pulkit Samrat starrer Haathi Mere Saathi trailer to release on March 4

Earlier this year, Rana Daggubati officially announced the release date of his upcoming multilingual film titled Haathi Mere Saathi in Hindi. Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi thriller with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan to go on floors around June-July

Telugu film director Nag Ashwin is best known for his National Award winning film Mahanati that starred Keerthy Suresh, Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Akkineni. Now, the filmmaker is getting ready for his next big pan-India project which will star Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. The film was announced last year and currently Nag is working on the pre-production of the film. The project, like many others, got delayed due to the pandemic. However, talking to a tabloid, Nag Ashwin said that he has been fine tuning the script and logistics. He also had his round of meetings with all three leads separately. Parineeti Chopra starrer Saina looks for a theatrical release on March 26

Hrithik Roshan, on February 26, was summoned by the Mumbai Crime Branch to record his statement in a case against actress Kangana Ranaut. Salman Khan starts shooting with Shah Rukh Khan for Pathan with strict Covid restrictions; no visitors on the sets

Salman Khan makes a guest appearance in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer  Pathan . However if the truth be told, Salman wouldn’t like to shoot at all until the pandemic is over. “Salman is totally against shooting now when the Covid danger is all around us. But then he is a man of his words and he loves his family. And Shah Rukh, all said and done, is family for Salman,” says a close friend of Salman, a producer who has been categorically told that his project with Salman would have to wait until the pandemic danger subsides. Earlier to  Pathan , Salman shot for his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma’s film  Antim , again because of his commitment to the family. “When it comes to his own films, he won’t shoot until it’s safe to do so,” says the source, adding that the Covid rules are being very strictly applied on the sets of  Pathan . No name decided as yet for Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s new born son; Sharmila Tagore yet to see her new grandchild

For those wondering what Taimur Ali Khan’s kid brother is going be named, they would have to wait a little longer. I touched base with ecstatic father Saif Ali Khan asking about this, and he replied saying there is no name yet, and both mother and baby are doing fine. In the meanwhile Saif’s mom Sharmila Tagore is yet to see her new grandchild. A friend of the family tells me, “With the Covid situation being what it is, travelling from Delhi to Mumbai is not advisable for Sharmilaji and she may wait a bit longer before seeing her new grandson.” Saif and his son Taimur are in the meanwhile enjoying their new at-home roles as Papa and Big Brother, respectively. “Taimur is very protective towards his new little brother. Sudhir Mishra to trace the rise of British Raj in India for his next

For his next film, filmmaker Sudhir Mishra plans on revisiting the history of India. The filmmaker is currently developing a period drama that traces the rise of the British Raj in India during the 19th century. Reportedly, the story is set in 1840. The filmmaker feels that it is time to tell our own stories so that the next generation knows the stories of our freedom. The show will take a hard look at what the British did to India and how they established their rule over the country. Talking to a tabloid, Mishra said that he has written the first season. He said that considering the nature of the subject, the series has to be mounted on a massive scale and it will take them time to roll the project. The web series has been envisioned by Mishra and backed by Applause Entertainment as a three season offering.
