There is no denying the fact that the Bhatt family, especially Mahesh Bhatt and his eldest daughter Pooja are very close to Sanjay Dutt for years now. When the news of Dutt’s illness reached the Bhatts, they were deeply affected. “Bhatt Saab has been close to Sanjay Dutt for close to 30 years. Ten days after his mother, Gaurav Chopra’s father passes away of COVID-19

Only recently, Gaurav Chopra had taken to his Instagram to announce that his mother passed away after a three-year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. The actor and his family were still mourning and the news of both his parents testing positive for Coronavirus broke out a few days prior to her death. Just 10 days after his mother passed away, Gaurav Chopra’s father lost his battle to COVID-19. Swatantra Chopra had tested positive while taking care of his wife in Delhi as she was admitted in the hospital for her cancer treatment. Gaurav Chopra took to his Instagram to announce the tragic news of his father’s passing and said that it is a void that no amount of time will ever fill. Sushant Singh Rajput death case: NCB registers criminal case against Rhea Chakraborty

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has registered criminal against Rhea Chakraborty in drug conspiracy angle related to Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. The NCB has named two men Farookh Batata and Bakul Chandalia who allegedly supply drugs in the film fraternity circle. They will likely be questioned. On August 26, the NCB booked Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty and others and registered a case under Sections 20, 22, 27, and 29 of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act. On August 19, the Supreme Court gave a go-ahead to CBI to probe Sushant’s death. The Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI), on August 6, registered an FIR against six people including Rhea Chakraborty, Rhea's brother Showik Chakraborty, father Indrajit Chakraborty, mother Sandhya Chakraborty, house manager Samuel Miranda, and Shruti Modi. Sushant Singh Rajput case: CBI officials unconvinced of two answers by Rhea Chakraborty

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is currently probing the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. On Friday, the CBI interrogated Rhea Chakraborty for nearly 10 hours. The actress who is also the prime accused was summoned on Saturday for a second round of questioning.  Reportedly, the Central agency was not satisfied with the answers Chakraborty gave for a few questions and wanted more details on the last hours leading to Sushant's death. The reports further state that Chakraborty was asked 50 questions and the CBI was not convinced with answers for two of the questions. They want to know if the couple broke up on June 8 and if yes, the reason for the same. Delhi HC disposes plea seeking deletion or modification of scenes in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl

On Friday, the Delhi High Court disposed a plea seeking directions to the producers of the recently released film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl to modify or delete few scenes and dialogues. The plea alleged that the film portrays the Indian Air Force (IAF) in poor light in order to glorify the lead character. The film is inspired by the life of the former Air Force pilot Gunjan Saxena. “Some scenes and dialogues in the movie are factually incorrect, misleading and portray an inappropriate work culture to glorify the screen character of the former Flight Lieutenant Gunjan Saxena. Several male officers have been projected as misogynists to suit the film's false narrative," said the plea by NGO Justice For Rights Foundation. Sushant Singh Rajput case: Four key witnesses lay out details of what happened hours before the actor’s demise

The CBI is currently investigating the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency has been trying to piece together the events that transpired hours before the actor's unfortunate demise. Four key witnesses have described how the actor spent the last few hours. All the four witnesses lived with the actor in his Bandra apartment. Sushant Singh Rajput’s close friend Mahesh Shetty shares his thoughts on Rhea Chakraborty’s recent interviews 

Two days ago, actress Rhea Chakraborty gave multiple interviews to different news channels speaking out her version of all the things that have been happening post the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput and her personal equation with him. On Friday, the CBI who is currently investigating the death of the Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput interrogated Rhea Chakraborty for the first time. The actress was questioned for nearly 10 hours along with her brother Showik to get a clear picture of their personal equation and their business ventures with the late actor.  Rhea was seen leaving the DRDO guest house post the interrogation at around 9.30 pm on Friday. Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman passes away at 43 

American actor Chadwick Boseman who played the role of Black Panther in the Marvel cinematic universe passed away at the age of 43 due to cancer. The actor died at his home in the Los Angeles area with his wife and family by his side.   Boseman has been battling colon cancer from the past four years. Petition to postpone media trial in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case filed at Bombay High Court

A petition has been filed in the Bombay High Court urging to postpone the media trial in actor Sushant Singh Rajput's case as it can hamper the probe. The plea which was filed on Wednesday is yet to be taken up for hearing by the high court. Reportedly, petitioners Nilesh Navlakha and two others demanded directions to news channels to limit their coverage of the probe. The petition said that the ongoing sensational reportage might hamper the probe by the CBI. It also said that the media houses have “proceeded to already convict” the accused named in the FIR. Mahesh Manjrekar files a complaint after getting Rs 35 crore extortion call, accused arrested

Bollywood filmmaker-actor Mahesh Manjrekar filed a complaint with Mumbai Police after he received an extortion call for Rs. 35 crore. The person who called claimed to be an alleged member of Abu Salem’s gang, as per reports. However, the police were swift to arrest the caller who turned out to be a tea seller in Mumbai. He was arrested from Maharashtra’s Ratnagiri. Deputy Commissioner of Police Akbar Pathan revealed that the accused Milind B. Netflix, in July, announced a lineup of 17 original stories, including six new films and two new series. Amongst the several movies shown in the lineup, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Bhumi Pednekar starrer  Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare was also included in the upcoming slate .   A stirring drama about two cousins and their quest for freedom, the film is set to premiere on Netflix in September. Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: Narcotics Control Bureau to quiz 20 people on supply of drugs

Two days after Narcotics Control Bureau filed a case against Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, they will question 20 people in connection to the supply of drugs. NCB has worked on a list of 20 people to be questioned including Gaurav Arya, Suved Lohia, Jaya Saha, ex-Big Boss contestant Ajaz Khan, Farookh Batata, and Bakul Chandani among others. Reportedly, Arya is absconding with Akshit Shetty. According to the reports, Ajaz Khan was arrested by Navi Mumbai Police in connection with drugs for in October 2018. Bakul Chandani was allegedly arrested for cocaine and LSD in December 2018 by the Anti-Narcotics Cell of Mumbai Police. Narcotics Control Bureau registered a case under Sections 20 (b) 28, 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act against Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, Jaya Saha, Sushant's co-manager Shruti Modi, and Gaurav Arya.
