Deepika Padukone to star in and co-produce cross-cultural romantic comedy for STXfilms and Temple Hill

STXfilms, a division of Eros STX Global Corporation (NYSE:ESGC) (“ErosSTX”), announced today the company is developing a romantic comedy for global Indian icon Deepika Padukone, who will also produce the upcoming film through her Ka Productions banner. The announcement was made today by Adam Fogelson, chairman, STXfilms Motion Picture Group. The studio is also in negotiations with Temple Hill Productions Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen (the Twilight franchise, The Fault in Our Stars, "Love, Simon") to develop the project, which will be a sweeping cross-cultural romantic comedy centered around Padukone. Isaac Klausner is overseeing the project for Temple Hill. Commenting on the announcement, Fogelson said, "There is a reason Deepika is one of the biggest global stars to come from India. Avengers stars Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson to star in Dexter Fletcher's romantic action adventure

Hollywood stars and Avengers co-stars Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson are all set to reunite in Apple's adventure movie titled Ghosted . According to The Hollywood Reporter, Captain America and Black Widow of Marvel Cinematic Universe will be sharing screen in a high-concept romantic action adventure. The duo is popularly known for their roles of Steve Rogers aka Captain America and Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow of MCU. Writing of the script will be done by Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick and will be helmed by filmmaker Dexter Fletcher who last directed Elton John biopic Rocketman. No Sonam Kapoor in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s cinema; filmmaker clarifies

Of late a number of stars have been seen visiting Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office. Every time a star’s car drives into the filmmaker’s office the rumours of collaboration abound. Earlier there were reports of Deepika Padukone, Kartik Aaryan, Ranbir Kapoor visiting the filmmaker’s office to discuss projects. They all turned out to be friendly visits. NCB presses serious charges against actor Armaan Kohli in drug case

Actor Armaan Kohli was arrested on Sunday, August 29 by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for illegal possession of drugs. A day before, on Saturday, the actor's residence was raided after which on the same evening he was taken to the NCB office for questioning. Reportedly, he is facing some serious charges. As per reports, Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede of NCB said that several charges have been levelled against Kohli apart from the consumption of drugs. He said that Kohli will be produced in court on Monday, August 30. Armaan Kohli was also arrested in 2018 by the Excise department. He was caught possessing 41 bottles of scotch whiskey at his residence which was against the law. The NCB started conducting raids and questioning members of the film industry since the latter half of 2020. Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested actor Armaan Kohli for illegal possession of drugs, on August 29. On Saturday, August 28, the actor's residence was raided after which the same evening, he was taken to NCB office for questioning. According to the reports, on Saturday, a team of the anti-drugs agency had intercepted one major drug peddler, Ajay Raju Singh. He was in possession of illegal drugs. The same day, the agency launched a follow up operation after interrogation of Singh. Following his inputs, the agency headed to Armaan Kohli's house. As per reports, a small quantity of cocaine was recovered. Armaan Kohli was arrested in 2018 by the Excise department. Honey Singh's wife Shalini Talwar breaks down during domestic violence court hearing 

A Delhi court Saturday, August 28, directed Honey Singh, real name Hirdesh Singh, to appear before it on September 3. This is in connection with the domestic violence case that has been filed by his wife Shalini Talwar as she approached the court alleging physical, mental, and emotional abuse. His wife Shalini Talwar broke down in court during the hearing. She said that she had given him her ten years and was by his side but he had abandoned her. Metropolitan Magistrate Tania Singh asked Talwar what she wanted from the court. NCB arrests actor Gaurav Dixit after getting 'MD' and 'Charas' from his house

The Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested Bollywood and TV actor Gaurav Dixit after getting ‘MD’ and ‘Charas’ from his house. As per ANI, "NCB arrested TV actor Gaurav Dixit after MD and Charas was recovered from his residence in a raid. He has been arrested in connection with the interrogation of actor Ajaz Khan." The NCB official said that Gaurav will be produced in court for custody. Earlier in April, NCB found large quantities of illegal drugs at his residence in Lokhandwala. As soon as the actor and his friend spotted police at their house, they fled away and since then they were on the search of him. Gaurav is known for acting in films, TV and commercials. Film director Pawan Kriplani is currently busy working on his Saif Ali Khan venture Bhoot Police that is being produced by Ramesh Taurani of TIPS. Now we hear that even before the film has been wrapped, Pawan has already locked his next project. In fact, buzz is that the filmmaker’s next will feature Sara Ali Khan and Vikrant Massey in lead roles.
