Britney Spears' attorney files motion for immediate suspension and removal of Jamie Spears from the role of her conservator

In light of allegations that Britney Spears was under surveillance with her conservators monitoring her phone and bugging her home, Britney’s attorney has called for immediate removal and suspension of her father, Jamie Spears, from her conservatorship. On Monday, the pop-star’s attorney Mathew Rosengart asks for an investigation of the claims, stating that Spears’ father allegedly “engaged in horrifying and unconscionable invasions of his adult daughter’s privacy.” Over the weekend broke the news that Spears was allegedly being closely monitored by a security firm that was hired by her father without her knowledge. Ranveer Singh starrer 83 to clash with Allu Arjun's Pushpa during Christmas 2021

Bollywood is getting back on its feet. After series of films seeing digital releases, many producers waited for theatres to re-open. As the Maharashtra government announced that theatres will re-open from October 22, makers of several projects went on an announcement spree which started on Saturday itself. Amongst the announcements was the much-awaited 83 , a biopic on the 1983 World Cup, starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role as former cricketer Kapil Dev. A day after the state government of Maharashtra announced their decision to reopen theatres on October 22, filmmakers of the Hindi film industry have been announcing the release dates of their films. Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor to release on December 10, 2021

Bollywood is getting back on its feet amid the pandemic and theatrical releases are being decided for upcoming films. After the second lockdown was lifted, the Maharashtra government chose to keep cinema halls closed until this past weekend. It was announced that theatres will reopen from October 22 onwards. Prabhas' Adipurush to clash with Akshay Kumar's Raksha Bandhan during Independence Day 2022 weekend

Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, is a film based on the Hindu epic of Ramayan. The film stars Prabhas as Lord Ram and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan with Kriti Sanon as Sita and Sunny Singh starring as Laxman. While the release date was already locked for the magnum opus project, it is now confirmed that it will clash with Akshay Kumar's Raksha Bandhan on Independence Day 2022. Ranveer Singh starrer 83′ set to release this Christmas

The much-anticipated sports biopic ‘83 based on India’s 1983 World Cup-winning heist is all set to release on the occasion of Christmas this year. Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha to release on Valentine’s Day 2022 instead of Christmas 2021

The much-anticipated comedy-drama film  Laal Singh Chaddha  was initially announced to release on 25 December 2020, coinciding with Christmas. Shehnaaz Gill's film Honsla Rakh co-starring Diljit Dosanjh to release on Dussehra; trailer out on Monday

Shehnaaz Gill's Punjabi film Honsla Rakh co-starring Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa is all set to hit the theatres worldwide on October 15. Shah Rukh Khan - Rajkumar Hirani project awaiting Canadian clearance

A major portion of Rajkumar Hirani’s next project which stars Shah Rukh Khan as an illegal immigrant is to be shot in Canada. The team is now looking at the nitty-gritty of shooting in Canada during these pandemic times. Censor Board issues show-cause notice to makers of Pratik Gandhi starrer Bhavai for flouting certification rules

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on Friday issued a show-cause notice to the makers of Pratik Gandhi starrer Bhavai for flouting certification rules and tampering with the content of the film. The film was earlier titled Raavan Leela and when a section of the audience took offense with the title, the makers changed it to Bhavai . According to the CBFC, the makers changed the title in the trailer and also included portions deposited with the body. "CFBC has sought an explanation from the makers of Bhavai for flouting certification rules and tampering with the content of the film. CBFC has always tried to stay true to its guidelines and has been making the certification process as smooth and systematic as possible," CBFC chief Prasoon Joshi said in a statement.
