Singer KK dies at 53 after performing on stage in Kolkata

Popular singer KK has passed away. He was reportedly performing on stage in Kolkata in West Bengal when he passed away. He was 53. As per reports, KK collapsed on stage during his performance and was rushed to the hospital. At around 10 pm, he was brought to the CMRI hospital in Kolkata. However, he was declared dead on arrival. According to reports, he suffered a heart attack on stage. One of the most versatile singers of the Indian film industry, KK has recorded songs in several languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Kannada, and Bengali, among others. KK is survived by his wife and children. Supreme Court refuses to stop streaming of Amitabh Bachchan starrer Jhund on OTT

The Amitabh Bachchan starrer Jhund has found itself in rough waters with an injunction being filed to stop the streaming of the biographical film on OTT platforms. However, the makers of the film and of course all related to it can finally breathe a sigh of relief with the Supreme Court refusing to stop the streaming of the film on OTT. In a ruling passed earlier today, Thursday, a bench headed by Justice L Nageswara Rao upheld the order of the top court dated May 5, 2022, stating that the film would continue streaming. Further, in its judgement, it also directed the High Court to consider the revision petition filed by Hyderabad-based filmmaker Nandi Chinni Kumar, immediately after the summer vacation. For the uninitiated, earlier this year a petition was filed to stop the release of Jhund , with the plaintiff, Nandi Chinni Kumar claiming copyright infringement. Akshay Kumar was all set to walk the red carpet at Cannes 2022. He was one among the several Indian celebrities who will be a part of the Indian delegation to the Cannes Film Festival on May 17. Veteran actor Dharmendra hospitalized; shifted out of ICU, is recovering now

In November last year, veteran actor Dharmendra had shared an image on Instagram from the sets of the Karan Johar film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani . The image featured him posing with Shabana Azmi and lead actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. While the filming for the film is still on, we hear that the yesteryears superstar was hospitalized earlier this week. As per reports, Dharmendra was in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) of a south Mumbai hospital. Now it is learnt that the actor has been moved out of the ICU and is recovering. While it is still unknown why Dharmendra had been admitted, reports claim that the veteran actor has been shifted to the general ward where he will be under observation for a few more days.
