“We are waiting for Kartik Aaryan to test negative” - Anees Bazmee

The shooting of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2  was suspended again this month when its leading man Kartik Aaryan was tested positive for Covid19. Now Kartik is well on the way to recovery and spending his time watching a whole lot of movies and enjoying his mother’s cooking. Director Anees Bazmee is not worried at all. “We have already shot more than 60 percent of the film. Shooting stopped in Lucknow in March 2020 and the lockdown followed .But we made up for lost time when we resumed shooting. SCOOP: Sooryavanshi unlikely to release on April 30 due to new Covid-19 restrictions; trade experts share their views

Around 3 weeks ago, Bollywood Hungama was the first one to report that Sooryavanshi , the much awaited action film starring Akshay Kumar and directed by Rohit Shetty, is all set to finally release on April 30, 2021. Ajaz Khan might face some serious charges in his recent arrest by the NCB

Yesterday, Ajaz Khan was arrested by the NCB at the airport after his return to Mumbai from Rajasthan. The actor has alleged connections to the Shadab Batata drug case and is being accused of possessing MDMA. Ajaz Khan is also being accused of being a part of the Batata gang and the drug case involves illegal possession of MDMA worth Rs. 2 crores. The actor has been taken into custody by the Narcotics Control Bureau officials and is being questioned about his connections with the gang. Sameer Wankhede, Zonal director of the Narcotics Control Bureau said that Ajaz Khan might have to face some serious charges with the case. The agency has found some serious connections of the actor to the Shadab Batata case and the actor had been questioned for multiple hours. This is not the first time that Ajaz Khan will be facing charges for possessing drugs. Amit Sharma opens up on fighting Covid

Badhaai Ho director Amit Sharma has fought his way out of Covid Positive. Speaking to me on the day his quarantine ended Amit said, “It happened in spite of all precautions. I had moved out of my home into a hotel for the last three months to work on my film Maidaan . The plan was to move back home, when I was detected Covid Positive.” Luckily Amit’s family was out of station. “It is fortunate that my wife and son are out of town. They left for my wife’s parents’ home in Delhi for the next two months. So I was in quarantine in my home without the fear of infecting my wife or son. I missed my family. But I was relieved that they were not home with me. It would have been very difficult to keep my son away from me. Or for that matter, if I had not moved out my home for three months my wife and child would also have been susceptible to the virus. BTS strongly condemn the rise in anti-Asian violence, share their experiences with racism

Global popstars and Grammy-nominated artist BTS has strongly condemned the rise in anti-Asian violence in a lengthy statement. Their statement comes in a few days after the recent tragic Atlanta spa shootings that led to the death of several Asians. BTS further elaborated on their own experience with racism. Satish Kaushik is back home but his baby girl in hospital

After Satish Kaushik who was hospitalized for reporting Covid Positive, his little daughter is now in hospital with Covid symptoms. EXCLUSIVE: No delay in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 release, confirms Bhushan Kumar

Earlier this week, Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan confirmed to testing positive for COVID-19. The actor had been shooting for his upcoming film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in the weeks leading to him contracting the virus. He was working along with co-stars Kiara Advani, Rajpal Yadav and Tabu. The film is being directed by Anees Bazmee. A month ago it was announced that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will hit the theatres on November 19, 2021. But with Kartik Aaryan testing positive and the shoot of the film coming to a halt there were questions on whether the release of the film will be delayed. However, that is not the case. Bhushan Kumar, head of T-Series, who is the co-producer of the film while talking to Bollywood Hungama confirmed that the film will release on the said date.
