Asia Cup 2018 - India Vs Pakistan

(India and Pakistan can Play each other Thrice) & Playing XI for India

India is known for its diversity, with a number of religions and communities thriving around the country. If you want to witness true spirit, extreme madness, craziness, support, and patriotism all at once, then India is the place to be during a cricket match. For Indian people, cricket is not just a game, but a religion. You can very well say that, it is like football (soccer) in Brazil or Spain.

The craze is such that, people watch a game right from the opening ceremony and pitch report till the presentation ceremony is over at the end. They watch every single bit of it, even the advertisements, so that they don't miss a wicket, a six, or a four. On match day, hopes and expectations of billions of people lie on the shoulders of 11 players of the team. India participate in 3 major ICC tournament.
1) World Cup
2) Champions  Trophy
3)T-20 World World Cup.
Along with these 3 major tournament, India also participate in Asia Cup. Asia cup is more intense tournament than other 3 tournaments because there is 100% sure India face Pakistan at least once.  The first Asia Cup was organised in 1984 in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. India and Sri Lanka are the two most successful cricket teams in the Asia Cup ODI format with each team winning cup five times.India is the most successful team of the Asia Cup tournament having won 6 times - 5 times on ODI format and once in T20. The last Asia Cup tournament was held in 2016.
The 2018 edition of the Asia Cup is being held from September 16, 2018, to September 28, 2018.

Now I will come to main topic that is a Big match between India and Pakistan. As we expected there is a match between India and Pakistan. But!!! if everything goes in right way then India face Pakistan 3 times.

Yes!!! What you read is right..... 3 Times India face Pakistan in this tournament.

Next question is How??

1)Group Round(Since Hong Kong is the third team in their group, 99% India and Pakistan will qualify from this group)
2)Super Four Round
3)Final.

India and Pakistan are set to renew their traditional rivalry as they face each other in the Asia Cup 2018 group stage match on Wednesday in UAE. The last time the two sides met was the final clash of Champions Trophy 2017 in England. Some plus points for India:-

# Out of the 12 times India and Pakistan met in the Asia Cup, the Men in Blue have won six times, the Green Army were victorious five times with one being declared No Result.
# India are the most successful side participating in the Asia Cup, having won the title a total of six times. Pakistan, on the other hand, have won twice.
# Mohammed Hafeez is the highest run-scorer for Pakistan with 437 runs in nine matches at an average of 54.62. He will also be giving the tournament a miss.
# Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who returns from a back-injury, has the best bowling record against Pakistan at Asia Cup, having claimed a total of 11 wickets in seven clashes. He is closely followed by Ishant Sharma, who is also at 11 wickets in equal number of matches.
# Off-spinner Saeed Ajmal is the highest wicket-taker for Pakistan with an impressive 20 wickets from nine matches. He has now retired from cricket.

Playing XI for India

Openers: Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma (C)
This comes as a no-brainer. Dhawan and Rohit have been one of the most successful opening pairs in recent times and it is obvious that they will get to open the batting for India. If both of them or at least one of these two gets going at the top, India will be in a commanding position and it is up to the lower order batsmen to continue the good momentum generated by these two batsmen. It will be a treat to watch both these batsmen open the innings for India, and a fine entertainment is on the cards in this Asia Cup.
No. 3 and No. 4: Ambati Rayudu/KL Rahul and Manish Pandey/Dinesh Karthik
The absence of regular skipper Virat Kohli for the Asia Cup has further opened up the batting slots up for grabs. The No. 4 slot was considered to be a problem for India in recent times and this Asia Cup will witness India trying something different at the No. 3 slot as well. Out of the available batsmen for the Asia Cup, Rahul, Karthik, Rayudu and Pandey will fight it out for 2 spots (No. 3 and 4).
Wicket Keeper: MS Dhoni
One of the greatest ever wicket keepers to have played the game, MS Dhoni's vast experience in the shorter formats, his smart work behind the stumps, his proven ability to bat with the tail and his magnificent prowess to rescue India from trouble makes him the first choice wicket keeper bat for India. His quick running between the wickets is still intact, and he is without a doubt, the fittest cricketer in this Indian team.
All-rounders: Kedar Jadhav and Hardik Pandya
Hardik Pandya was supposed to be one of the quality all-rounders in the Indian lineup, but he has not done justice to the tag of being a proper all-rounder, at least as of now. Branded as one of the aggressive strikers of the cricket ball, he can hit those sixes and give a flurry of runs at the death but the inconsistency has cost him big time, so far in his career. Kedar Jadhav is back to the Indian frame of things after the hamstring injury that ruled him out of the entire IPL (He played only the first game). His unorthodox bowling action with decent pace can break a partnership or two.
Spinners: Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal
The latest spin-twins of India in the shorter formats, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal, have been fantastic in the middle overs for India. They have the ability to choke the runs and bamboozle the batsmen with their variations and can pick wickets at will.
Pacers: Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah
Much like the spin-twins of India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah can easily be called the pace-twins of India. Bhuvi and Bumrah have been one of the best partners doing the rounds in pace bowling across the globe.

This is my Pridicted XI for India in Asia Cup. Don't forget to give your predicted XI in Comment section. Also let us know about who will win the first face off ??
India or Pakistan??
