Aurier’s poor 2018/19 season
Serge Aurier arrived at Tottenham in August of 2017 from Ligue 1 outfit PSG for a fee in the region of £22.5m.
Aurier had an ok debut season in England, managing 17 Premier League appearances, in which he scored two and assisted two.
However, the 2018/19 campaign has been one to forget for Aurier.
Even with Kieran Trippier in such awful form, the Ivorian has still struggled for game time and has amassed a dismal eight PL appearances this past season.
Aurier has travelled with Tottenham to Madrid for the Champions League final but it is unlikely he will start.

Monaco bound?
After playing such little football for Tottenham it isn’t too much of a surprise to learn the right-back is being linked with a move away from North London.
According to French outlet France Football, AS Monaco are interested in signing the out of favour defender.
As per the report from FF, Monaco are believed to have already contacted Spurs over potentially signing Aurier who France Football value at somewhere around €15m.
Aurier also gave this pretty vague update on his future in a recent interview:
“In football anything can happen. For now, there is not the ambition to leave, I am very good. This year I was more embarrassed by the injuries than anything else. We’ll see how it’s going to happen but in any case I’m here.”As quoted by France Football.
Tottenham could also be set to lose another right-back in Kieran Trippier this summer with the Englishman heavily linked with a move to Napoli.
