Xhaka responds to fans
Arsenal took on Crystal Palace this past weekend.
The Gunners would find themselves 2-0 up after nine minutes thanks to goals from David Luiz and Sokratis.
However, Crystal Palace would find a way back into the match and come away with a 2-2 draw.
The biggest story coming out of the clash was not Arsenal blowing a two-goal lead though.
It was instead Granit Xhaka’s actions when he was subbed off.
Whilst being booed by some Arsenal fans, Xhaka is said to have cupped his ear and said ‘f*** off’.

Xhaka to be offered counselling
Unai Emery has since spoken out about the incident, claiming Xhaka feels the supporters do not like him:
“He is upset, devastated and very sad.
“It is not only yesterday and today. He is feeling the supporters don’t like him.” As quoted by the BBC.
Now, in the wake of the incident with Arsenal fans vs Palace, BBC Sport are claiming the Swiss international will be offered counselling:
Arsenal will offer counselling to captain Granit Xhaka after his angry confrontation with home fans during Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.
According to the report from the BBC, Emery did not want to say if Xhaka would lose the Arsenal captaincy.
Liverpool vs Arsenal
Arsenal are now set to face off with Liverpool on Wednesday evening in a League Cup tie.
This should prove a fairly tough test for the North London outfit with Liverpool unbeaten in 10 league games this season.
Xhaka will reportedly not be in the squad to take on Liverpool.
