Arsenal & Kieran Tierney’s no deal
The Premier League restarts in two weekends time.
Will Kieran Tierney leave Celtic to join Arsenal before the beginning of the campaign?
The Arsenal-Tierney transfer chase has been moving slowly all summer.
So far, Arsenal have had at least two bids for the Scottish international rejected by Celtic.
On Sunday, while Arsenal still remain in the hunt to sign Tierney, the deal appears to have stalled.
In the Daily Record, readers are told the following:
Kieran Tierney is still stuck in limbo with Arsenal and Celtic locked in talks over his £25million transfer.
As of (Saturday night), no deal was in place with Tierney left waiting as the clubs tried to thrash out an agreement to take him to the Premier League.
The Sunday Post suggest that Arsenal are likely to sign Tierney before the transfer window closes.

Everton ‘near agreement’ for Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha
Arsenal fans are hoping to see confirmation of Nicolas Pepe’s transfer imminently.
Over the weekend, widespread reports confirmed that Arsenal have sealed a 72 million pound deal for Lille’s Pepe.
In the Sunday Times, Duncan Castles has looked into the Arsenal-Pepe deal, and the knock-on effect that may have on Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha.
For the record, the BBC’s David Ornstein has reported that Arsenal’s interest in Pepe is at the expense of Zaha.

As a result, Zaha, who has been tracked by the Gunners all summer, could now be on his way to Everton instead. The Sunday Times reveal:
Should Arsenal conclude Pepe’s transfer when he returns from a post-African Nations Cup holiday in the United States, it will increase Everton’s chances of signing Wilfried Zaha.
The 26-year-old forward has asked to be allowed to leave Crystal Palace this summer, with Everton understood to be near to agreeing a deal on a transfer prioritised by manager Marco Silva. Zaha’s preference had been to move to Arsenal, but the two London clubs could not agree a fee.
