Romelu Lukaku, Paulo Dybala swap deal
Like most of their Italian rivals, Gazzetta dello Sport had an image of Man United’s Romelu Lukaku on their front page on Sunday.
For weeks, the story doing the rounds has been about Inter Milan’s struggle in signing Lukaku.
However, for Gazzetta, Juventus are now in the race for the 26-year-old Belgian striker.
The pink paper carried the following four headlines on their splash:
Lukaku-Juve can happen – Swap with Dybala: the Bianconeri surpass Inter – Marotta will try to close Dzeko as soon as possible – If he loses out on the Belgian, he will go all out for Cavani.
Swap deals in football rarely happen.
However, Man United are one of the few clubs to have done such a deal when Alexis Sanchez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan switched clubs.
According to the figures in Gazzetta, Man United want 83.5 million euros for Lukaku while Juventus claim Dybala’s valuation is similar.

Inter Milan target PSG’s Edinson Cavani
Gazzetta also claimed that Inter Milan could try to sign Edinson Cavani from PSG if Lukaku proves unattainable.
Would signing Cavani prove any easier?
The suggestion is that if Neymar does end up remaining in Paris, Thomas Tuchel could look to move on Cavani.
The Uruguayan and Brazilian have previously fallen out publicly on the pitch.
Yet, Cavani remains PSG’s greatest ever goalscorer.
The South American has scored 193 goals and assisted 40 in six seasons in Paris.
The Uruguayan has also won five league titles, four French cups and five French league cups during his stint in France.
Cavani is under contract at PSG for one more season, while France Football have previously claimed he is paid 18 million euros a season.
