Chelsea table offer for Marc-Andre ter Stegen
Spanish radio station Cadena Ser are reporting that Chelsea have made a move to sign 28-year-old keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Cadena Ser report that Ter Stegen has two offers on the table.
Those offers have reportedly come from “major European clubs”.
Reporter Cristobal Chassaigne claimed that Chelsea and Bayern Munich are believed to be the clubs chasing Ter Stegen.

Reasons to doubt the Chelsea, Ter Stegen transfer story
The Ter Stegen, Chelsea rumour has popped up just when Barcelona are looking to agree a new deal with the German goalie.
Currently, Ter Stegen’s Barcelona contract expires in 2022.
This season, the goalie played 36 times for Barcelona in La Liga. Ter Stegen conceded 36 goals, while keeping 14 clean sheets.
In the Champions League, Ter Stegen has 2 clean sheets in 6 matches.
Yet, while Ter Stegen has been a key feature for Barcelona in recent years, there are doubts over whether he’ll sign a new deal with the Catalans.
Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has recently admitted that Ter Stegen may have to take pay cut to stay with Barca:
He understands what is happening in society and he knows that with the decrease in income at clubs like Barca, he will have to adjust his salary.
All the players are doing it and we are working on that.
Cynics may argue that links between Chelsea and Ter Stegen could be doing the rounds in an effort to force Barcelona to agree a higher salary with Ter Stegen than they’d currently prefer.
Chelsea’s Kepa problem
Another reason to doubt the Ter Stegen story centres on Chelsea’s current #1: Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Kepa was dropped for Chelsea’s final match of the Premier League season against Wolves last weekend.
However, Chelsea spent an enormous 71.6 million pounds on Kepa, while the goalie is under contract until 2025.
Willy Caballero is currently the alternative to Kepa at Stamford Bridge.
While most Chelsea fans may assume that the Blues would be keen to sell Kepa this summer, the likelihood of that happening currently feels remote.
Several months ago, ESPN reported that there were no suitors for Kepa. That position doesn’t seem to have changed.
Could Chelsea sign Jan Oblak from Atletico Madrid?
Another goalie who has been linked to Chelsea is Jan Oblak.
However, considering Oblak’s release clause at Atletico Madrid, that potential transfer also feels unlikely to happen.
Update @ChelseaFC & Jan Oblak: The Bosses of @Atleti Madrid know since two month of the interest of Chelsea in Jan Oblak. Atlético doubt that Chelsea can afford Oblak AND Havertz. therefore Atletico remains relaxed

Chelsea conceded 54 goals in the league this season – more than any other side in top half of table. No surprise they’re looking for new goalkeeper. Jan Oblak would be No 1 choice but Atletico don’t want to sell and he has £110m release clause. Onana and Pope among other options

old rumours. 7 days ago. And always said Atletico don’t want to sell him.
