Pep Guardiola Provides Sergio Aguero Injury Update Ahead of Champions League Return

Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Sergio Aguero will miss Manchester City's all-important clash with Real Madrid on 7 August, after failing to recover from a knee injury. The Argentine hasn't featured for the Citizens since mid-June when he was forced to leave the field against Burnley with a knee injury, and although his coach was originally optimistic about the forward's chances of a return, he has now ruled out that possibility.
