Liverpool fans furious Leicester’s Harry Maguire wasn’t sent off

Liverpool vs Leicester

Liverpool hosted Leicester City on Wednesday in a huge game.

Manchester City lost to Newcastle on Tuesday, meaning Liverpool could open up a seven-point gap with a win over the Foxes.

The Reds have lost just one league game all season and are unbeaten at Anfield.

Leicester, on the other hand, started the day 11th in the league having lost their last two league games.

Should Harry Maguire have seen red?

Liverpool got off to the best possible start vs Leicester as Sadio Mane put them 1-0 up inside two minutes.

Later on in the first-half Mane would then nearly find himself through on goal once again.

However, the pacey Mane would be pulled down by Leicester’s Harry Maguire.

Maguire looked to be the last man and with Mane’s pace, it is likely he would have got through on goal, despite him being close to the halfway line.

Maguire would escape a red card though and then go down the other end of the pitch to equalise for Leicester.

Unsurprisingly, Liverpool fans are not happy with this and have taken to Twitter to express their views.
