Arsenal & Yannick Carrasco
According to the BBC’s David Ornstein, Arsenal’s hopes of signing Belgian winger Yannick Carrasco are dead.
Unai Emery has been chasing a new winger in the January window, however that’s not going to be Carrasco.
Carrasco’s agent revealed on Wednesday that time was running out for the Gunners to get the deal done.
While the BBC have now confirmed that “Carrasco to Arsenal (is) off”.
Yannick Carrasco's agent Christophe Henrotay tells Radio Rossonera: “Everything is possible but it seems difficult to do so because it would decisive and rapid movement by the interested clubs involved to discuss and deal with the current club of Carrasco.”

Carrasco did want Arsenal move
Ornstein has confirmed that 25-year-old Carrasco was keen on switching to the Gunners.
However Arsenal failed to agree terms with the player’s Chinese club, Dalian Yifang. Reportedly Arsenal’s loan offer was “far too low” for the Chinese.
That’s left Ornstein wondering whether Arsenal’s “recent interest was as serious as it seemed early (January).”
AC Milan also lose
On Wednesday, reports also surfaced that AC Milan were looking at signing Carrasco.
Former Arsenal CEO Ivan Gazidis is now the principle deal-maker for the Rossoneri.
However Ornstein has also confirmed that Carrasco won’t be moving to Milan either.
Carrasco to Arsenal off. Player part fine but loan fee offer far too low to suggest recent interest was as serious as it seemed early Jan. Better offer from another club (reportedly AC Milan) & Dalian Yifang were offered replacement but reluctant so set to stay in China #AFC #ACM

Will Arsenal sign Ivan Perisic?
On Wednesday night, Ornstein also shot down that possible deal.
Perisic looks set to stay at Inter Milan as Arsenal failed to agree terms with the Italians.
Arsenal pressed hard for Perisic. They want loan + option, Inter Milan want permanent or loan + obligation. So #AFC offered to pay penalty fee if loan doesn’t become permanent. No sign of #Inter budging. Far lower numbers & effort in Carrasco pursuit. Nkunku said to be 50/50 #PSG
