Tottenham’s stadium move
Spurs fans would be forgiven for thinking ‘here we go again’…
When will Tottenham move into their new stadium?
After repeated setbacks, Tottenham remain at Wembley Stadium as the 2018-19 season starts to head into the business end of the campaign.
Will Spurs move into their new home before the end of the season?
According to the latest update from Mauricio Pochettino, the Tottenham board still think that’s possible.
Daniel Levy’s positive update
As reported in the Evening Standard, Pochettino has revealed that Spurs powerbroker Daniel Levy still thinks the move is possible this season:
“I saw Daniel [Levy, the Spurs chairman] yesterday and he’s very positive,” said the Argentine.
“I still think it’s going to be tough, but that was before Palace went through in the FA Cup and we changed the game. Many things have happened [since] to make us more positive, to believe that we can move before the end of the season.”
“I’m going to support all the possibilities that can make us play [in our new home] before the end of the season.”
🙏“I saw Daniel yesterday and he’s very positive."

Chelsea vs Tottenham
Tottenham are back in Premier League action tonight.
The Lillywhites head to Chelsea in a London derby.
Spurs are third in the standings, while Chelsea are sixth in the table.
Chelsea & antisemitic chants
Everyone will be hoping that Chelsea’s fans behave themselves against Tottenham.
It’s also worth noting that Chelsea could be punished by UEFA on Thursday for antisemitic chants.
Chelsea reiterate their zero tolerance policy in relation to any racist and, for the avoidance of doubt, antisemitic behaviour ahead of tomorrow's visit of Spurs.
They are encouraging fans to report discriminatory behaviour by text to 07894-937793.https://t.co/o6lrQcTXDy— Dan Levene (@danlevene) February 26, 2019
One to watch this Thursday. UEFA disciplinary officials will decide on disciplinary action against Chelsea after antisemitic chants were made by fans during a Europa League game in Hungary in December. Chelsea could be forced to play a game behind closed doors without fans.
