Jurgen Klopp is set to make three changes against Watford from the side that held Manchester United to a goalless draw over the weekend, according to Liverpool Echo’s James Pearce.
Roberto Firmino is unlikely to recover in time to feature against the Hornets having suffered from an ankle injury.
The Reds are looking to regather momentum in the Premier League having drawn in three of their last four outings.
Premier League preview: Liverpool vs Watford
Liverpool are under pressure to win at Anfield this evening with their lead over Manchester City now at just one point.
The Reds have undergone a slight blip over recent weeks allowing their title rivals the chance to reduce the gap.
Klopp’s side earned a good point at Old Trafford on Sunday but having now drawn three of their last four, a win is required versus Watford.
The focus will be on Mohamed Salah, who despite still being the league’s top scorer, has undergone a tough spell.
The 26-year-old was substituted off against United as he failed to impact the game.
With Firimno sidelined, Salah’s importance will only be intensified against Watford.
