Sami Khedira ‘spotted’ at Arsenal

Sami Khedira was “spotted” at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium on Sunday before the match against Lyon.

The sighting was recorded on social media by Daily Mail reporter Daniel Matthews.

Unless my eyes deceive me, just spotted Sami Khedira at the Emirates for #AFC vs Lyon today 👀👀

Could Khedira join the Gunners before the close of the transfer window?

Rumours linking the German World Cup winner with Arsenal have been floating about this weekend.

Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio reported that Arsenal are one of a number of clubs keen on the signature of Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira.

Di Marzio also named two other suitors for Khedira: Valencia and Fiorentina.

Khedira’s contract at Juventus

Now 32, Khedira is under contract at Juve until 2021.

The Bianconeri also retain an option to extend the deal by another 12-months.

Khedira has been plying his trade in Turin since the summer of 2015, when he joined Juve on a free transfer from Real Madrid.

In three seasons at the Allianz Stadium, Khedira has contributed 19 goals and 10 assists across 77 league appearances.

However, last season the midfielder only played 10 Serie A matches for the Scudetto champions.
