Burnley 0 – Liverpool 3
Four games, four wins for Liverpool.
Facing a tricky test at Turf Moor on Saturday, Jurgen Klopp’s men recorded an excellent 3-0 win at Burnley.
The win means that Liverpool head into the international break two points clear of Man City.
Trent Alexander-Arnold fired Liverpool into the lead when his cross deflected off Chris Wood to loop in the net after 33 minutes.
Sadio Mane doubled Salah’s advantage before the interval.
In the second half, a Roberto Firmino strike settled the contest.
Momahed Salah didn’t set up Sadio Mane
In the second half, Salah missed a great opportunity to tee up Mane for another goal.
The Egyptian forward could have squared a pass to a free Mane in the Burnley box.
However, Salah tried to score himself. He failed.
Mane has every right to be angry with Salah.

Sadio Mane explodes on the bench
In the 85th minute, Klopp replaced Mane with Divock Origi.
When Mane returned to the bench, the Senegalese forward fumed on the sidelines.
It didn’t take a genius to work out why Mane was upset; he clearly gestured that Salah should have passed the ball to him in the Burnley box.
Salah jokes about Roberto Firmino’s reaction
After the match, as Liverpool’s players returned to the away dressing room, Firmino reacted to the Salah vs Mane incident.
The Brazilian puffed out his cheeks and looked at Salah in the tunnel.
Liverpool posted video of that footage on their Instagram Stories, while Salah laughed at the video on his own social media page.

How Jurgen Klopp explained Mane’s outburst
The German manager said:
But it’s good eh? He was upset, it was obvious.
Sadio cannot hide his emotions, I like that. But all sorted. We spoke about it and everything is fine.
We are individuals, we are emotional. It was a situation in a game. What else could have happened? It was not a phone call.
Would he do exactly the same again? Probably not. He didn’t say any wrong words, he just looked a little bit different to how he looks usually.
