Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish was out with two other Premier League footballers & impact on ‘Man United move’
Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish breaches quarantine rules
Jack Grealish may be thankful that he’s locked in his house today.
The Aston Villa midfielder is facing a barrage of criticism in the press for breaching quarantine rules during the Covid-19 crisis.
Grealish, who had previously issued a video telling his fans to stay indoors, proceeded to ignore his own advice when he went out on Sunday night.
The Villa midfielder was caught having broken the isolation rules after he got into a car crash at 4 am in the morning.
On Monday evening, Grealish recorded a new video apologising for his “stupidity”.

Grealish was out with two other Premier League footballers
More details are now emerging about why Grealish went out on Sunday night. The Times report:
It is believed that Grealish went to an apartment belonging to the former Villa player Ross McCormack.
McCormack, 33, is currently a free agent.
However, the Mirror further report that Grealish was also joined by two other Premier League footballers at McCormack’s house:
The Mirror can reveal two other Premier League stars were with Grealish on Saturday. Both are household names and one is a current England player.
A source said the group made a “racket” as they drank and played computer games.
“There are a few players dreading their names coming out and their clubs finding out,” they said. “It’s not a good look to be out partying, especially when the advice is to stay indoors.
“They are lying low. They will face big fines if their managers find out.”

Impact on ‘Man United move’
Aston Villa have fined Jack Grealish 150,000 pounds for breaching the government rules regarding isolation during the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the press are keen to suggest that Grealish’s behaviour has also gone down badly at Old Trafford.
The assumption is that Man United are keen on signing the 24-year-old midfielder from Villa Park. On United’s interest in Grealish, the Times report:
(Grealish) has emerged as a prime transfer target for Manchester United.
United have a strong interest in Grealish as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to accelerate the reshaping of his squad this summer.
The Mirror believe Man United may back away from signing Grealish because of his recent car crash incident.
However, are the Mirror simply speculating? That seems to be the case, as reporter David McDonnell claims:
Manchester United ready to bid £60million for him this summer, few players have more going for them.
But the 24-year-old’s actions on Sunday morning may have jeopardised both of those ambitions and caused significant damage to his burgeoning career.
Over in the Daily Mail, Chris Wheeler is keen to argue that Man United are still hoping to sign Grealish regardless of what happened last weekend:
Sportsmail understands that United are clear favourites to sign Grealish from Aston Villa, and a deal worth up to £80million is still expected to go through in the summer.
