Good for Man United: Jose Mourinho update on David De Gea contract

Jose is confident

Jose Mourinho is confident David De Gea will commit his future to Manchester United.

On the back of United exercising their right to trigger the one year additional clause in his deal, Mourinho thinks the stopper wants to stay longer.


The United  boss noted that not only does he think De Gea wants to stay, but that he also wants to keep him.

Regarded as the best in the world, De Gea has saved United time and time again.

After their late win against Young Boys, not only did people talk about Mourinho’s celebration and the late goal, but they also mentioned De Gea’s super save.

The news is less positive when it comes to Alexis Sanchez.

The winger is set to be out for ‘a long time’.

Mourinho confirmed fears Alexis’ hamstring injury was a bad one.

Mourinho also said that it would be some time before Alexis plays again.

After moving from Arsenal, there were such high hopes for Alexis, but he’s been very poor.

There are even rumours  he wants to leave United in January, though with his latest injury, that doesn’t seem likely.
