Liverpool and Arsenal stars nominated
While 34 players have been nominated, you would probably except the award to go to either Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah or Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.
Mo Salah began 2018 in fine form and would help Liverpool reach the 2018 Champions League final.
Salah is also having a solid start to the 2018/19 season, during which he has scored nine and assisted four in 19 games for Liverpool across all competitions.
Mane was also instrumental in guiding Liverpool to the UCL final vs Real Madrid and like Salah, he is enjoying a solid 2018/19 campaign.
The winger has scored seven and assisted three in 18 games for Liverpool so far this season.
Arsenal’s Aubameyang has also enjoyed an impressive year for his new side, Arsenal.
From February to May Aubameyang made 13 Premier League appearances for Arsenal and scored 10 goals.
Aubameyang has also scored 10 and assisted one in 17 games for Arsenal this season.
