A huge game for Arsenal
The north London derby is a match that both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur fan look forward to all season.
It’s always more than three points, and the bragging rights are key.
However, in recent years, Arsenal have spent the majority of their time worrying about the top four and missing out.
Spurs meanwhile have been chasing the title.
According to Paul Merson, that makes it a far bigger game for Arsenal this weekend than it does for Spurs.
“This game this weekend is a bigger game for Arsenal than Tottenham, that is how it has swung really,” Merson told The Debate.
“The pressure is on Arsenal to perform and win the game. If Arsenal do not win this game, you are going to go away from here saying, ‘Tottenham are just getting away from Arsenal.'”
Ozil’s omission by Emery
Mesut Ozil’s role in the team has been much discussed.
Unlike under Arsene Wenger, there are no free passes in this side with Unai Emery as manager.
Combined £520k a week on Mikhi, who hasn’t played well all season, and Ozil, who is benched because he won’t track or press.
£27m a year.

Ozil made it clear how impressed he was with the young players on show in the Europa League.
Arsenal are now through to the knockout stages with a game to spare.
This performance from the youngsters tonight… The future is bright! Congrats to all players! #YaGunnersYa #COYG #UEL @Arsenal

That of course means they can focus on the Premier League and getting into that top four.
