Chelsea old-boy Claude Makelele vs Man United’s Paul Pogba
Claude Makelele was a guest on Astro Sports on Sunday as Man United beat Bournemouth 4-1.
Paul Pogba stole the headlines with a brace and assist against the Cherries.
Pogba seems like a new man following Jose Mourinho’s exit from Old Trafford.
After scoring against Bournemouth, Pogba celebrated by showing off a couple of different dance moves,
However for former Chelsea enforcer Makelele, he believes Pogba’s actions reflect a lack of respect.
Makelele compared Pogba to Thierry Henry, saying:
One example is Thierry Henry. When he scored a goal before, everybody was like, ‘F*****g hell, many goals, he’s never happy.’
One day I tell Thierry, ‘Why?’ He said, ‘It’s the way I celebrate my goal. I know people don’t like this, but I’m like this. I can’t change this.’
Pogba, he’s like this, he can’t change this. We accept this – it’s Pogba. For me, it means sometimes you don’t respect your opponent, you know?
It’s frustrating. I’m fronting Pogba. I want to tell him, ‘Listen, do this in the dressing room, not now. You win 4-0, you’re dancing in front of me.’
How Makelele would react to Pogba
So what would Makelele have done if Pogba would have danced in front of him?
The Chelsea old-boy revealed he kicked Ronaldinho once because of the same reason.
Jamie Carragher on Pogba’s dancing
Jamie Carragher also revealed his true feelings about Pogba’s dancing during commentary of the Bournemouth game.
As the French World Cup winner enjoyed himself on the Old Trafford pitch, Carragher said:
Oh here we go… Jesus.
Jamie Carragher saying what we all think about those ridiculous dancing celebrations. ‘Oh here we go……(mutters under breath) Jesus’ đŸ™„ #pogba
