Tottenham vs Ajax
It’s Champions League semifinal day as Tottenham host Ajax in north London.
Can Spurs establish a first leg advantage before they head to the Dutch capital?
Or will Ajax, who have already KO’ed Real Madrid and Juventus, record another memorable result in the English capital?
Tottenham come into the match following a 1-0 home defeat to West Ham.
As for Ajax, they should be fully rested after the Dutch FA allowed them to rest last weekend as they rearranged the schedule.
Moussa Sisssoko & Fernando Llorente
The Times on Tuesday have gone about predicted the respective line-ups for tonight’s match.
Tottenham go into the game with a string of significant selection problems.
Harry Kane remains sidelined. If the England captain plays again this season, it may only be in the Champions League final (provided Spurs get that far).
Son Heung-min is also out of contention due to suspension. The South Korean will be available for the second leg.
As for Harry Winks and Serge Aurier, they have been ruled out through injury.
Against that, the Times predict that Moussa Sissoko will return for the Lillywhites. The French midfielder has been nursing a groin problem.
Mauricio Pochettino is also tipped to start with Fernando Llorente in attack.
The Spanish forward will be asked to link up with Lucas Moura, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen.
