David Moyes & Manchester United
June 30, 2019.
Today’s the day when David Moyes’s six-year contract with Manchester United ends.
To recap, Moyes was appointed as Man United’s manager following Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.
Moyes moved to Old Trafford from Everton, while the Red Devils handed the Scot a massive long-term deal.
In the end, Moyes only lasted ten months at the Theatre of Dreams.
Put another way, Moyes had 5 years, 2 months and 8 days to run on his Man United contract before he was let-go.
Ryan Giggs replaced Moyes as Man United’s interim manager.
In total Moyes was in charge for 51 matches at Old Trafford.
United won 27 games, drew 9 and lost 15. Moyes left Man United with a 52.9% win record.
Stormzy vs David Moyes
British rapper Stormzy was the headline act on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury on Friday night.
During his set, Stormzy, a massive Man United fan, referenced David Moyes.
It’s fair to say that Stormzy wasn’t impressed by what Moyes achieved during his time at the Theatre of Dreams.
"I come to your team and fuck shit up – I'm David Moyes"
