Kyle Walker-Peters a target for Crystal Palace
On Wednesday news broke that Aaron Wan-Bissaka is on the verge of leaving Crystal Palace to join Man United.
Man United have tabled a 50 million pound package for Wan-Bissaka which includes an initial £45 million plus £5 million in add-ons.
Wan-Biasska’s transfer to Man United could be completed on Friday.
Crystal Palace now have to find a replacement right-back for 2019-20.
The Times on Thursday suggest that the Eagles could make a move for Tottenham’s Kyle Walker-Peters after revealing that Spurs offered Palace KWP in an effort to sign Wan-Bissaka:
Tottenham were put off by the valuation and offered Kyle Walker-Peters as part of a possible deal. Tottenham could still try to offload Walker-Peters to Palace as a replacement for Wan-Bissaka.
Walker-Peters is under contract with Tottenham until 2023.
Last season the 22-year-old only made 10 appearances for Spurs all season, including six in the Premier League.
Memorably, in the 2018-19 Boxing Day clash against Bournemouth, KWP registered a hat-trick of assists for Spurs.
Tottenham & Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon
It appears that Tottenham are close to signing Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham.
Sessegnon only has a year to run on his Fulham contract.
Last season, as Fulham were relegated from the Premier League, Sessegnon only scored two goals and chipped in with six assists.
The Telegraph have revealed the following on Tottenham’s interest in Sessegnon:
Tottenham are also hopeful of finalising a deal for Fulham teenager Ryan Sessegnon, who is also keen to work under Pochettino.
Sessegnon suffered a hamstring injury playing for the England Under-21s this summer and is yet to know the full extent of the damage, but it is not believed to have caused any concerns that his move away from Craven Cottage will be disrupted.
Is Tanguy Ndombele joining Tottenham?
The Times indicate that Tanguy Ndombele remains on course to join Spurs this summer.
The hope is that Ndombele will have his Tottenham medical “this week”, while Spurs appear set to pay Lyon around 55 million pounds for the midfielder.
