Liverpool supporters have flooded to Twitter this afternoon to react to their side’s starting lineup to take on Spurs.
Liverpool vs Tottenham
The Reds are set to welcome Mauricio Pochettino’s men to Anfield for a 4.30 kick-off, in a crucial fixture in the race for both the Premier League title and a place in the top-4.
Manchester City’s win over Fulham yesterday afternoon saw the Citizens leapfrog Liverpool back into top spot in the English top-flight table.
Manchester United’s 3-point haul versus Watford, meanwhile, saw the Red Devils join Tottenham in 3rd, with Arsenal a further point adrift in 5th.
As such, this afternoon’s result on Merseyside is no doubt set to prove an absolutely integral one not only for Liverpool and Spurs, but also for the rest of the Premier League’s top-6.
‘Free Fabinho’
Ahead of kick-off at Anfield, the starting line-ups of both sides were announced a short time ago.
The main surprise in Tottenham’s XI came in the form of the absence of Heung-min Son:

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, meanwhile, has opted for the following, leaving Fabinho on the bench in favour of the tried and tested trio of Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum and James Milner:
